Custom Stage AI Intelligence

If custom stages do come back, do you think they will the AI will still struggle on custom stages. I always noticed that the computer characters always struggle on custom stages even on the highest difficulty. The increase in power from the Wii to Wii U hopefully will allow the computer to function normally on custom stages. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't answer this just yet, we have no idea if Stage Builder is coming back.

Hopefully the AI is better on custom stages...

They tend to kill themselves quite often, and they don't do much fighting on custom stages at least from what I've seen.

Yeah it was pretty annoying. They just couldn't figure out what to do and then they would make dumb mistakes.

If the stage builder is coming back, it's probably a Wii U only feature, so we may not hear anything for a while still. I loved making custom gametypes based around weird stage layouts in Brawl, but unless it's been significantly expanded, (at least give us more than three backgrounds...) I wouldn't miss it too much if it's gone. They seem to have definitely been making some AI improvements as seen with today's pic of the day, so who knows, maybe they might play better on Custom stages too.

Yeah I really wish it was on the 3DS but it will probably be exclusive to the Wii U. Like you said yesterdays pic of the day hopefully is a sign it has improved.
