Smash Journeyman
I guess it's a little unlikely without modding potential, but hear me out. And sorry if something like this has come up already, I didn't really find anything when I searched it up using the search tool.
Mainly, this game comes from a stamina based game that my friends and I like to play every so often between friendlies, and it goes like this:
One guy (let's call them the King/Queen or whatever) gets 250 HP but has to choose a random character. The other players can choose their characters but only get 10 HP and are teamed up (without team attack) against that one guy (We set lv9 CPU's if we only have 2 or 3 humans). Whomever gets the kill becomes the next King/Queen. We usually play without items, though that's not a restriction. The team is also allowed to pick the stage.
It's hella fun, but tedious to set up.
Which brings me to my point: It would be nice if we could make or at least suggest custom gamemodes to the dev team a la Halo and have them implemented as to eliminate the tedium that comes with having to do everything manually. It would certainly allow for some interesting games online, I'd think, which is one of the biggest things I'm looking forward to in the upcoming Smash.
So I'm curious: what other custom games have you guys come up with?
