Custom CSP and BP Help

Alright, so I've been using the Brawl Costume Manager to edit the CSPs and BPs of the characters. I've been replacing them with Smash 4/3 content so the game will be more colorful, and it'll reflect the custom costumes better. However, I've gotten the CSPs to work, but the BPs are giving me issues. For one, the manager WILL NOT let me edit the Vanilla P:M BPs. I have to install SJS's custom CSS/BPs in order for it to let me edit them at all. After all that, when I do edit them, the game crashes once I load a character with a custom BP that's not Vanilla or SJS's stuff.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

You can't replace the vanilla BP because those files aren't in the project m files. It's using the default vanilla brawl BP's which are in the brawl files, not PM. The solution to this is to add the vanilla brawl files that you want to replace into the PM files. To do so, you're going to want to go here (you can find this page on Brawl Vault's resource section at the bottom left) and browse to info->portrite->and download the BP you are looking to replace. In Costume Manager it will tell you which BP you're going to need. So after you download the correct InfFaceXXX.brres, drop it into projectm->pf->info->portrite and then you should be able to replace it with whatever image you'd like in Costume Manager without problems.

You can add the portrite folder to your drive using the button at the top right corner (assuming you have a google account) then download them all from your drive.
