Custom Character Textures on MAC

Hey everybody,
Just found out about Project M yesterday and immediately downloaded it. It worked without a hitch.
However, I've been trying for hours to get ANY character textures to work, but every tutorial I go to is windows specific, and asks you to download some third party application, that doesn't work on mac, to "make it easier". I've downloaded many skins and extracted them, but to no avail. I am playing a hackless wii version of PM.
Can somebody really guide me through step by step on how to install a texture with the character icon on the character select screen as well?

If you want to get character textures to work, you go to this specific folder:
(SDCard)\projectm\pf\fighter\
And from there you will see a bunch of different folders with names.
Here's a webpage with a list of all the names for the characters' folders and what files are their costumes.

If I downloaded an Ice Mario costume, I'd go to Mario's folder in the fighter folder and then check what I should name the ice mario costume if I wanted it to go over the blue team costume. In this case it would be Fitmario03.pac and Fitmario03.pcs
I then place it inside. If everything worked, the blue team costume will be changed.

As for changing CSS icons? I dunno, never tried it before. Sorry,

And something more if your on mac download something called "winebottler" then run "wine" then open brawlbox.
