I found it immensely disappointing that Ganondorf started as a Captain Falcon clone in SSBM and has barely evolved since then. Very few of his moves were actually related to the Legend of Zelda games. Toon Ganon (from The Wind Waker) would be a good idea for SSB4 DLC or SSB5.

As a modification of SSB4's Ganondorf, here's how I would alter his stats:
  • Size: Larger/wider. Almost as big as King Dedede.
  • Running speed: Moderately faster
  • Jump distance: Slightly higher.
  • Air travel speed: Much higher
  • Weight: Slightly lower
  • Falling speed: Moderately lower
With the normal moves, his power-to-lag ratio would be similar to Link's, though slightly higher on both ends.

Jab - A straightforward sword slash which inflicts 9 % damage. Moderate knockback. Good priority.
Grabs - He has good range, but his grabs are kind of laggy.

Aerials

Up - Ganon raises one his swords as an anti-air move. Only 10% damage but can lead into some comboing.
Neutral - Ganon, in his cape, spins rapidly incurring 5 potential hits of 3 damage each. Low start lag. Moderate end lag.
Forward - A sucker punch that's quick, deals 16% damage and has nice knockback. Somewhat short range.
Back - Ganon turns around quickly and slashes the enemy for 8% damage. Decent range. Some end lag. Mostly for positioning.
Down - Equivalent to Ganondorf's

Smashes

Equivalent to Ganondorf's current Smash Attacks.

Tilts

Forward - Stabs the enemy with two swords. Decent range. 13% damage. High base knockback. Moderate lag.
Down - Brings both swords down, covering both sides. 11% damage. Moderate lag.
Up - Equivalent to Link's Up Tilt

Specials

B [Energy Beam] - Toon Ganon pulls out his sword and releases a ball of energy that flies across the stage. The projectile has high priority, some stun and inflicts 10 damage. Only 1 projectile can be out as a time. The move has some start and end lag. Low knockback.

Up B [Helmarock Flight]
- A giant helmarock bird grabs Toon Ganon and rushes him diagonally upward. Distance akin to Marth's Dolphin Slash but hits/hitboxes akin to Fox's Fox Fire. Then, the player can optionally glide downward. The move is low on start lag but has some end lag. Moderate knockback, but high knockback at sweetspot.

Side B [Fury Slash] - Ground only. Toon Ganon takes his two swords and charges forward very quickly and maniacally, about 2/3 of Final Destination across. Projectiles do not affect him while in this move. The attack has multiple hits and can inflict up to 15 damage. It also deals extra damage to sheilds. The start lag is very low, but the end lag leaves him vulnerable. Low base knockback and high multipled knockback.

Down B [Spell of Winds] - Toon Ganon casts a spell which blows a strong gust of wind. This move inflicts no damage, but it reflects projectiles, has a lot of knockback and is good for edgeguarding.

Final Smash [Giant Flood] - The whole stage is flooded with a deluge of ocean water while Toon Ganon laughs maliciously. No damage is dealt but all characters with 50 or more damage are KO'd.
