I've slowly been importing skins to project m and it is slowly reverting back into brawl and I don't know what to do.

You're gonna need to provide more detail than that. What exactly is reverting, the CSPs, the character PAC files, battle portraits? What tool are you using? If you're using the costume manager, stop using that and use BrawlBox, the costume manager is buggy as hell.

It's mainly the stages and the new characters, mewtwo and roy, the announcer calls mewtwo some aloid and roy is a pokemon trainer, there sound effects sound distorted and unlike any other sound in the game. stages like final destination and metal cave had turned into there brawl counterparts. As for tools I don't use costume manager and brawl box has problems on my computer so I use it rarely

So what do you use...? I don't know of any alternatives myself.

Is the entire game just loading Brawl? Are there any PM assets at all or just Brawl stuff? Did you modify the GCT at all? If so, that's likely where your issues are. Otherwise, you may have gone over a filesize limit in something like common5 (though that usually causes crashes, not stuff like this).

You can also try reformatting your SD card and putting your build back onto it after.

I'm probably doing it wrong but I was taught to just change the fit number of the skin, as for loading it loads PM but once I enter the stage it reverts back to the brawl stage. When I load final destination it turns back to the bawl one. Maybe I did go over the file size limit but like you said it would probably crash, so ill try to reformate my sd card

I've actually had this happen before, but just once though. I put my SD in and it loaded the game, but it was like the file patch code was picky and only did some files. The other codes worked fine, though. I recall loading Fountain of Dreams and it loading a strange Mario Bros., like it had the wrong rel. I just blew on my SD and put it in again, and worked fine. I've never had it reoccurring before, so there's some information I'd like so I can help. First, what kind of SD card are you using (SDHC)? What is the size? What's the brand? When you format it, are you unchecking "quick format"? Also, if you put a vanilla build of PM on the SD and load it, does it still have the problems you are describing?

this same thing happened to me once when i accidentally used a 8gb card. maybe you have the card formatted wrong?
Usually stuff like this happens when you have an SD card that's larger than 2GB without the proper codes. That's why I asked for the size of Rpggames77's SD card. It happened to me once, but I use a micro SD that goes into an SD, so that's a whole other story.

Interesting... I wonder if the card has a defect, I once got a 2-pack of 2gb SD cards that were made side by side based on manufacturing codes, and both seemed functional when I put them in my computer. But when I tried using them, one worked perfectly and one didn't even load the File Patch Code! I suggest you try a new 2gb SD. Also, what OS do you have on your computer (Windows 7, 8.1, Mac, etc.)? I know Windows 7 and 8.1 have a check box labeled "Quick Format"...

so I formatted it and put back on regular pm, the sounds are still messed up but the stages are fine, but now some of the skins from my custom build are on them, but not all of them

So, with the problematic SD card, you formatted it, put vanilla PM on it, and then some old data from your build lingered and overrode the vanilla PM data? And the music was messed up, suggesting that the music was added via replacement... This is weird... Presuming you quick formatted (it would take 5 seconds) the way you fully format your SD is: Go to Windows Explorer>C:\ (Computer)>Right Click the SD Card>select format>a box will come up, there'll be a check box labeled "Quick Format"> Uncheck that box> Hit Format>it will take a few minutes, but the SD card will be comepletely cleared of any data rather than just hiding data. If this doesn't help, try getting a new SD card (2gb).
