Custom .brsar with 3.5?

I'm trying to use super sawndz to insert the sawndz files in the sfx folder into a .brsar because I like using an ISO to play Project M. For 3.0 this worked perfectly, but whenever I do it with the 3.5 sawndz files, BrawlBox gives me a giant warning whenever I try to open it and fails to open it (image included). Can someone who is more knowledgeable than me about how the sounds work give me some advice? (Looking at you, Moydow :p)

yo

I just tried this with a couple of sawnd files, and they worked fine (haven't yet had a chance to make a full ISO, though). I used a fresh brsar though. Best I can suggest is to just rip a clean brsar and try again.

Well, I just tried it after inserting every sawnd. I should also mention that my .brsar is a Japanese one (that's the point), but that's never affected anything before. I guess you don't know exactly what the error BrawlBox gives me means? Thanks for the help btw.

EDIT: After inserting each sawnd separately and opening the brsar, I can confirm that it is Jigglypuff's sawnd (41.sawnd) that breaks the .brsar. I have no idea why, nor do I know what sounds they changed for Jigglypuff, but I can live without it until someone find out what's up. I haven't gone past to see if any of the others break it yet, but it looks like it wasn't as big a problem as I thought. Can you confirm this? Which sawnds did you insert?

EDIT AGAIN: Scratch that, both Galleom (323) and Duon (325) also break the brsar, which is a problem because those are Roy and M2's SFX. Am I stuck until someone figures this out? Can you/anyone else confirm this? Thanks.

re the error: It died when trying to load a sound, which probably means the sound files got corrupted at some point (usually upon injecting a sawnd file).

I tried with Marth and Roy's files (I fail to see what they needed to change about Marth, but that's irrelevant). I'm using the NA brsar though, haven't got access to a Japanese one to try that. Experience from trying to make US stuff work on PAL suggests there's some difference between the Japanese and NA brsars that makes files intended for one break on the other, but since you say others are working, it mightn't be that either.

So Roy/M2/Jiggly work fine on an NA brsar? That's unfortunate for me. I could wait until the JP 3.5 comes out, but who knows when that'll be... Is there any way to convert .sawnd packs to individual wav files so I could just replace those few sounds manually?

The only way I know of is to insert them into a US brsar, and run that through this, which will unpack the entire brsar into individual wav files. There's no way I know of to convert sawnd files into wavs.
