Curious roster photo from August.

I was roaming around the internets, and stumbled across this:

It's a roster screenshot from back in August.

The menu layout is similar to the actual in-game layout, and all we had seen of the menus at that point was the "Names" update. Also, the unconfirmed characters aren't really similar to the usual pictures that you see when searching on images.google.com.

I hadn't seen this picture until yesterday, and it's only hosted in one place.

If this had been debunked already, then I apologise for cluttering the forum with useless threads!

Well I would think that it was perfect if not for the kirby icon having a full body shot... i like how they did paper mario...but i doubt he'll be in. About if this is debunked or not...no idea.

Really blurry >_< the only thign that would make me think this is AT ALL real would be the interface being much the same as the ones seen at E for all and such..just a question, whos the one in the FAR right corner O_O i cant pick it out

i've seen the same jigglypuff's picture on other rosters. I could say the same for ganondorf too. is that capt falcon on the upper right corner?

Debunked because of style, tom nook, no signs of Olimar(who is not an unlockable), non-fitting character boxes(like tom nook, he's a bit below the rest)

The Ganondorf picture is from Twilight Princess, so no. Also, I highly doubt there would all those gaps between characters. In Melee characters actually switched places sometimes whenever you unlocked someone new, so as not to create spaces (in Melee Pikachu actually started at the top, next to Mario, by by the end he was in the bottom row).

The fact that some of the boxes are hanging over the edge slightly also screams "fake". The only reason some did that in Melee was because it showed they were a "clone" of the character next to them. Captain Falcon isn't a clone. And that racoon...thing (from AC?) wouldn't be a clone of Ike...
