These are just a few questions I've developed over my time playing Super Smash Brothers Melle.

A: Do computers recoil faster than player operated characters?

B: Do computers fight better the better you are?

A: Not always.

B: Sure. If you suck more than the computer.

Not always? I don't understand. Does it vary from character to character? It seems that the Ganondorf that is operated by the computer physically recoils faster than if, say, I was playing him.

That's the thing. There is a trick that people use to recoil faster after an attack. If you press L at the correct time, you 'cancel' the attack, and reduce the lag time (i.e., after Link's downward thrust). So, theoretically, the computer CAN recoil faster than a human character, but there are ways to avoid it. You just have to be good.
