CT - 1V1 MLG Rules Cash Tournament Fri. 9.28

Hey guys, alot of you came down to a few of the tournaments that we have had in the past and we have finally got around to posting on SmashBoards. We are doing our best to cater to the great Smash community we have here in CT. The tournament info is as follows:

GamingETC Tournament Center and Superstore
555 Lordship Blvd.
Stratford, CT 06615
Easy off EXIT 30 I-95

*We are a large gaming store (approx. 5,000 sq. ft. with central air) and are located in
a plaza between AAA and Quest Diagnostics, we are right across from the Porter and Chester Institute.

Entry Fee:

1v1 - $5
2V2 - $5 per person $10 per team (we host casual rules team play as well, more on that later)
Registration starts at 6PM and the first round of the tournament will begin at 7pm.

Rules:
This friday's event will be double elimination and use the standard MLG rules which are available for download here( http://www.gamingetc.com/docs/ssbmMLG.doc) on our website. In short they are:

- 4 stock 8 minute time limit, final match is not timed
- Best 2 out of 3, finals are 3 of 5
- Items are Off
- First game is random of 6 stages: Yoshi Story, Fountain of Dreams, Pokemon Stadium, Final Destination, Battle Field, Dreamland
- Banned stages are: Hyrule Temple, Termina, Fourside, Flatzone, Brinstar Depths, Icicle Mountain, Yoshi's Island, Yoshis Island 64, Big Blue, Green Greens
- All other stages are available for counterpick
- loser gets character counterpick
- striking stages is allowed

Additional Details:
We have two big screen TVs in the store, a Wii and a Cube, so anybody that can bring additional setups would be greatly appreciated. TVs, Cubes, Copies of Smash, Memory Cards, would all help so let me know what you can bring so that we can figure out how many setups we will have. We have food and drink available here in the store, and will be ordering fresh hot pizza for the tournament.
