CSS/SSS Problem

I am trying to use this SSS and this CSS. Unfortunately I seem to be having a problem. As some of you know, I am using Riivolution now, so I renamed the two files appropriately. The game freezes when I right before I go to the CSS or SSS. When I rename the files back to normal, they obviously do not show up. Lemme give you an idea of how this goes down...
Sc_selmap (renamed Sc_selmap_en)
Sc_selcharacter (renamed Sc_selcharacter_en)
=Game freezing as soon as I select the Brawl option.

Sc_Selmap (not renamed)
Sc_selcharacter (renamed)
=same as above

Sc_selmap (renamed)
Sc_selcharacter (not renamed)
=freezes after I press start upon trying to go to the SSS from the CSS.

Sc_selmap (not renamed)
Sc_selcharacter (not renamed)
=CSS and SSS changes do not show up. (Such as custom CSPs)

I am using the CSS code provided with this download, and have removed the alloys and company. The CSS by default does not have any new CSPs, just the regular Brawl ones. I have not added any either. Can someone help?

Yay freezing!
I would say check info_en.pac to see what the filesize is because that's the only thing i can think of that would cause it to freeze at the loading screen

common5.pac would always be the culprit for freezing after the strap menu though. It always happens to me since common5.pac doesn't really work for me anyway.

Probably because of the file size... but then again, some files in common5.pac are kinda useless.
