I'm trying to complete the challenge where you have to beat 10 alloys in Cruel Brawl. So far the most I've gotten is 3. Any suggestions?

P.S. I don't know why I used all my hammers.

Personally, I just attack from the ledge, and then dair them. Just do it at the right time and you should be fine.

My suggestion is to play as Meta Knight. That's how I did it. Just float off to the side, and when they jump to you, do a Shuttle Loop. If you hit with the top of the Loop, they get sent away from the stage to their death.

Or you could land 10 Warlock Punches. Should be easy enough.

I've been mostly ledge grabbing and trying to stomp them to their demise. I've tried Meta Knight, and he's only gotten 1 kill. Ike has the most with 4.

Warlock Punches would most definetely not work because if they hit with most attacks, it's all over. :(

I actually used Pit to pull off 10, flying away from the ledge and letting them jump after me. Ganondorf... ledge-grabbing works, but SH U-Air to repel them if they get too close. Drop down low and try to lure them after you, then recover if they take the bait. If they don't, try again. Mind you, I only got 6 with Ganondorf before a Kirby clone followed and nailed me, but it could work with a bit of luck.

The Alloy on Cruel are overpowered, brain dead, attack dogs. If you can manage to get them packed to one side, ledge drop into an Ub so the uppercut connects, it should scatter them all. When the opprotunity arises that you can get up and roll towards the opposite side, they should all be grouped together. Dash to the other ledge and repeat the strategy to be on the safe side and take a long time, risking lucky shots or; Get them all chasing you then turn around and Dash attack. I have never seen them shield. When a dash attack hits the group, they attack from the air and scatter eachother.

I prefer using Wolf, Ike or Pit, but its fun with Ganon, too. The main idea is to keep them grouped together and let them beat the crap out of eachother as they chase you, IMO.

I've tried the UpB technique, and the blue alloy kicked me in the face for a KO.

I will say this, it's soooo satisfying when you hit them hard. :D

It sounds like you Ubd above the ledge level. What I'm referencing is 100% safe as the fist goes through the floor and then you catch the ledge. The green Alloy can follow you, so be wise in your timing. When you hang for an extended time, they will all wait towards the edge. Time the drop so you Ub at the last second possible and you will be fine. It took me one death to gauge the right distance. Its foolproof when you learn the proper distancing.

No matter who I use for the challenge, I always go in knowing that they will follow and attack relentlessly. Being in the middle of the stage with them on each side means I need to adjust and set them all to one side. Attack the group and evade individuals, otherwise you'll get launched during or after your own attack from another you aren't harming. The red ones are easy to lure into gimps, but quick. The green ones are light. The blue and yellows wait at ledges the most. Herding them works best IMO, because they don't discriminate. They beat the crap out of eachother while trying to harm you.

Edgecamp like hell. Cruel Brawl isn't hard with Ganondorf. You just need to be really patient. Up-air, edge attack, N-air, Up-B, and D-air as necessary.

Ganondorf makes Cruel Brawl easy, really.

UAir edgecamps the ledge like crazy and simply throw out a ^+B under the ledge to scatter them when needed and DAir or Tipman them when they come after you.

If you're really, really wanting to get the challenge done, use Jiggs. Float off to the side a bit, pound under the stage, and grab the ledge. Repeat back and forth, and you'll start getting some that will try and follow you.

DK somewhat works too, by pulling away from the edge, DJing back onto the edge.

The computers are stupid. Use it to your advantage.

I have to correct myself. I mistook them impacting eachother as having friendly fire on. However, lastnight I went serious with Ganon due to this thread to see if I could scribe the best strategy with Ganon to help you. after about ten minutes of tinkering I got 10, and ten minutes further I scored fifteen then tripped at the ledge and got Zelda clone fisted in the back of the head.

So whats the highest number y'all have achieved with Ganon?
