Me again with another topic :d From the Yoshi Storybook and Route 118 I bring you...

Crocodile Cauldron!

This stage takes place in Crocodile Cauldron from Donkey Kong Country 2.
The stage also takes some uniqe things from the levels including Hot-head hop and Squaks shaft.
The level has a single long platform and 2 side platforms on the edge of the screens.
There is no bottomless pit but there is lava becareful!

Down in the lava there are two Crocodiles if you land on one...

Boing! You will be thrown in the air! Sometimes a Crocodile won't suspend you and rather dive into the lava, be careful!

The platform also has a surprise.
If you stay on it too long...

You will fall! Try and survive by landing on one of the Crocodiles heads!

Sometimes during a Match the lights will go out! But don't worry thats what the Squaks are for!

Well how you like that? The DK stages could use a little more less Klamps and Barrels don'tcha think?

Any stage based off of DKC2 would almost definately be a pirate ship stage, since that was the main theme of the game.

I really like this idea, it's interactive and interesting, but not overdone so there's pleanty of room for controlled fighting. I really like the crocodile head and Squaks ideas, those are both really nice. I'm not so sure I'm into the upper platform opening up unless this was some sort of peiodic action or activated by a player hitting a switch rather than if any one character stays on it too long, just so there's a little more room for fighting than just jumping around. All in all, a great stage, a very nice change of pace for DK, and some really creative ides, nice job.

It actually looks like a fun level design. The lights-out idea is my favorite, as long as it doesnt overstay its welcome in battle.
