Hey there, critique my fox please!
A few things i'm already aware of:
- there wasn't enough shine
-I fair'd too much
-I accidentally rolled to cause my death

Other than that any tips would be greatly appreciated!

if this is the wrong place to post this, then i'll take it down tomorrow (or maybe a mod will do it for me before then, but hopefully not

Work on keeping Fox moving fast at all times, so start dash dancing. You look pretty slow out there even though you are wavedashing.

Also, practice your side b so you can make it back to the edge and sweetspot without thinking about it. Same goes for your up b. I saw you SD or at least die twice because you seem to need practice sweetspotting both of these. This will also help with your approaches, so instead of side b-ing into the middle of the stage where Sheik is waiting for you, you can grab edge, and then get up attack or drop and jump up with a nair or something.

Work on connecting with your uairs, especially with an opponent on the top platform of Battlefield.

-Avoid throwing out dash attack. It's really not that great and can be easily shield grabbed. It does have uses in that it can lead to an upsmash kill when they are at high percent but that use case is not worth the risk of getting it shielded.

-Crouch Cancel sheiks's aerials when your at low percentage. It destroys sheik.

-Your main priority when fighting sheik is get her off the stage and then edgehoging her. she's crippled by her recovery. You gave up the ledge completely for free a couple times. As soon as you knock her off go to the ledge. Wait for her to Up-B. As soon as you see her Could appear tap left or right to stand up from ledge. If she goes for the ledge she'll be edgehogged while you get up. I f she lands on stage you can easily upsmash or grab her.

-Avoid rolling. Wave dash out of shield is almost always a better option

-Connect every l-cancelled Dair with a shine.

-Your uptilit use is actually pretty good. Most foxes have a tenancy to forget to utilize all tilts besides Upthrow->uptilit. Good job!

-Avoid throwing out Smash attacks in the neutral game. Your opponent isn't amazing so it may work in this match but against good opponents they'll wait for you to throw out a move then punish. Set your opponent up for guaranteed kills/hits such as waveshine->upsmash. Waveshine->grab->Upthrow. Or simply Bairing them off the stage then edge guarding

-Dash dance more and be patient. Wait for your opponent to throw a move. Use laser to rack up damage. Sheik has problems approaching

I just picked up Fox the other day and there's some stuff I noticed that is pretty fundamental. The biggest one is that you miss short hops a LOT, so I think you need to sit down in training mode for a bit every day and just practice SHFFLCing, then you can work some shines in after your SHFFL'd nairs, bairs, and dairs to avoid getting shield grabbed, but right now shining is the least of your worries. Learning slippery movement and working in dash dancing, wavedashing and SHFFLCing should be your biggest priority right now.
