these are a couple of matches that i recorded last summer. I've gotten tons better, and actually take my friend out pretty consistently now.

Before anything, get technically fluent. After that, start trying to understand the game better. Then try to find patterns and punish openings, and to not leave openings.

You need to do a lot more defensive quick strategies and a lot more combos. Also, start acting like your the fastest character, because you will be in the battle with Fox

Wsup MIKEHAZE!! Do you remember me?! I went to that tournament that you had during the summer. "A real man doesn't need to cuss"... We MM too and I lost horribly. LOL.

Anyway, from watching your videos, it seems like you got worse. I don't know why.

IN the vid with the falco, don't do unnescesary (spelling) shine spikes. The first one he was doing his up B and on the way down you tird to shinespike. The problem is, he's just sitting gthere next to the edge and grabs it before your shine comes out. SO he recovered when he should have died. Then you edge hogged and phantasm, and on the way down you shiine spiked him. This DID result in his death, but because you spiked him into the wall a really god player would have wallteched that and recovered.

Moral: don't do anything flashy or pointless when they're going to die anyways. It can have unexpected results.

My favorite story of someone who hadn't learned this moral is a fox vs. peach on Dreamland. THe fox, at 150%, managed to send peach over the top and into the background. Ecstatic, he jumped off the edge doing lasers. Can you guess who died first?
