Ok, I had an idea about a project and put it to my freind and he decided to do it. This is the "intro" video of it. There are 2 brawls in it though. My freind plays a VERY cheap MK, just watch. I know it isn't a very good vid but meh.

Where to start, where to start
1.) Not the best critique video (maybe a few too many tornadoes on both parts)
2.) You are doing yourself no good walking into his whorenadoes, he is vulnerable very many times after every tornado, that is when you: jab, grab, f-smash, SHaerial (dair) and then chase after him, you can't let him bog down in one spot and spam the hell out of his tornado. You are the better player but you weren't playing smart.
3.) Tornado is NOT an aerial attack, do not use it like at 2:15, you easily could have uair, then bairs, you need more fundamental aerial attacks
4.) After about 2:30 the game started to change, which was good because you were using real attacks, but careful about using green missile so blindly, you would be punished by anyone else for charging it and then missing it.
5.) Approaching is why you didn't win this battle immediately, your approaches had little variation, you need to do a couple of things in approaches, first, mix them up, second, use fireballs and SHaerials not tornados, and also, powershelid his counter attacks during you approach to prevent injury and sliding.
6.) 3:10-3:15=NOOONONONONOONONOOOOO. Use that move 2-3 time a match, it is a surprise move, see green missile thread for in depth analysis.
7.) Don't use Luigi's dash attack execpt to break up someone camping, dash attack has uses in team battles.
8.) Second video was a little more of the same, 4:36 use grab, and get close he was very vulnerable, even if he was able to use a whorenado, you only risk a little bit of damage for what its worth
9.) You were lacking Luigi's surplus of KO moves, no UpBs, no ^f-smashes, and what happened to d-smashes.
10.) You could **** that MK offstage, do it.
11.) Use the right side of Corneria, thats a good spot for u-smashes (not charged, no need to charge smashes)
12) D-throw follow ups consist of aerials.

That concludes my critique

This video is 2 weeks old so I have got better, but my wii is broken so...yeah.

6) Um... yeah. If he had jumped up I would've fired if he moved left I would have fired. But you're right I shouldn't use the missile as much.
7) Why not? it can knock someone off the stage. Followed by a fair and/or fair.
9) ever since I used the default controls I havn't used the dsmash as much.
11) why not charge, charged sliding upsmash?
12) I learned that pretty much after that.

Like FFAD, it puts Luigi from an aerial back to neutral position the moment he hits the ground. For examples just watch boss.

About auto L cancel, IDK, you'll have to ask someone who knows all the names for stuff. Alias made a buffering thread that may be in the ToC, have a look.

I imagine you have gotten a lot better than this

but just with MK you cant charge him

play some mindgames,use the jab,etc.

I have got better. My wii is broken so I'm at a standstill atm. Shame he isn't good.

yeah i dont even own wii or a copy of smash, I just play at friends houses

so i know what it's like to be on a standstill :/

my favorite thing is when i play my friends right before the match begins I always say

"don't worry, I'm awful"

Sometimes it takes people a while to get it

Well in this match being patient wouldn't get you anywhere because that MK would continue to use tornadoes.
I wanted Crewster to start uusing some attacks that could break up the same constant playing style, which at the time was; Luigi Tornado, MK Tornado, Luigi Tornado, MK Tornado........
