This seems like the right place to ask. I'm trying to do some frame data for Pit, and I'd like to have some gifs of attacks, but I can't figure out how to get brawlbox to do it.

BrawlBox had GIF support implemented after hitbox support was removed, so you'll have to use BrawlBox's screenshot capabilities to take a screenshot of each frame or you can use an external recording program to record the model viewer.

EDIT: Grammar.

Uh, guys. Brawlbox has it's own gif maker. There's no need for external programs or anything.

OP wants to make gifs with hitboxes, and Sartron is saying that hitbox and gif support aren't featured together in any versions of BrawlBox.

I'm well aware of all that. Sartron's post was just worded weirdly; thought he was suggesting to screencap frames in the gif-capable brawlbox.

That's what I got from it .___. sounds tedious, but if there were a more efficient method via BrawlBox I'm assuming he'd be aware of it, given that he's the main provider of hitbox gifs for several PM chars

EDIT: misread "gif-capable" as "hitbox-capable" or something, nvm
