Crawling?

I haven't seen too much about crawling, or have seen it used. How do you crawl? I know that snake can roll in to a crawl... how does that work?

i was always wondering about this, i mean they made such a point of it early in the development and i have yet to really see it in action, i assume only a select few chars can do it, like wall jumping
