Try re-installing (delete the files from the SD card, download again, put the new files on the card)

what happens if that doesnt work. i installed homebrew and then i uninstaled it. should i format the sd card
What do you mean by this? You installed the Homebrew Channel, or the homebrew version of Project M?
Either way, just remove the PM files from the card, download them again, and put the newly-downloaded files on the card. You probably don't need to format, unless this doesn't work.
