I'm very new to Ice Climbers, so I'm still working on a few things. One huge problem I'm having is fighting ROB since his D-Smash is incredibly fast. I can't figure out any way to avoid it. When I'm fighting ROB we'll usually end up roll-dancing around until he stops one of his rolls righto n top of me, then D-Smash which has the unfortunate effect of launching my climbers opposite directions in the air.
I've tried many times to grab ROB before he can do the smash, but I think grabbing is just too slow. Due to the laser beam and the little top thing (which does ungodly amounts of damage), I can't afford to be extremely picky about getting into the perfect position when I'm on the same level/platform as ROB, since he'll just throw projectiles at me until I finally approach. I have managed to catch him with Down B occasionally, but the lag makes it difficult. Furthermore, if I'm wrong and he rolls away instead of toward, I get punished for 20% with ROBs top.
