Counter Sapling can cancel Omega Blitz

I'm unsure if this is new, but Counter Sapling (Villager Down Special 2) cancels Omega Blitz (Mii Brawler's Final Smash). I've tested this with some other characters, but this only seems to occur with Mii Brawler's Final Smash.

It's because of Brawler's step forward during the smash. He walks onto it and trips.

I thought this would be the tree countering the smash though ;-;
