Could we PLEASE get an improved Practice Mode?

I've got a roommate who plays Street Fighter competitively, and everyday I can't help but admire how amazing Ultra's Training mode is. For anyone who's tried Luigi, you know that if you mess up a Ledge Release->jump->Waveland it takes an eternity to get back and try again. That aside, imagine if you could use save states like in Ultra where you instantly snap back to a chose scenario...think of the time you'd save.

What if one could choose CPU options like shielding, grab after shield poke, Spot Dodge after shiel poke, or heck, even record player input.

Points is, I think if there's anything PM could truly benefit from (outside of frame perfect WD and Light Shielding), it'd be an improved training mode.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the current limitation?
Not really sure how I can elaborate. "We can't do X" is the reason. It's not possible, we cannot implement it.

Is it related to the onboard training mode being relatively uneditable or that there would be no way to set up the AI behavior to match something like the 20XX training mod?

The user interface isn't very editable and it's not possible to make custom AIs like that with the tools we have now (and for the foreseeable future, ever).

I like the Sacred Realm and other similar crazy stages on brawlvault as I can practice ledge stuff and not sd if I miss.

So it isn't even possible to due things like DI in, DI away, or random DI for training mode?

Damn that sucks.
well, you used to be able to set AI to "run" and they would always DI left or right. As of 3.0 they don't do that anymore.
