Could the lack of Miiverse posts be hinting toward a newcomer?

We've been looking at the same Miiverse image for around 3 days now. Something big must be going on at Namco Bandai headquarters if Sakurai hasn't done another one for 3 whole days.

Also, I'm wondering what Sakurai meant about his latest post. Will the 3DS have more or less assist trophies than the Wii U version?

If you haven't been able to see a new Miiverse post for yesterday and today then you may need to clear your browser's cache. Everything is working fine on my end.
