costume changes or just color changes?

as the update showed the costume changes today, can you only change the color or also the costume b/c samus to dark samus would not really work just changing colors... so can you change the costume or just the color?

In the update he just says theres 6 different color changes. But to me it looks like a cross between color changes and alt costumes. If you look at the Dark Link color change you'd see what I mean. But when it comes down to it these are not alt costumes, they are just color changes.

Too bad theres no costume colore change setting. Owell

Actually, I beilieve that Dark Samus was shown in the demo as an alt costume/color. I still think there will be un-lockable minor swaps (Mario-Dr.Mario, OoT Link, old Fox model).

That seems possible, if so I hope for Wario's old costume but seeing how Mario has it for an alt, chances don't look good. The Dr. mario seems like a possiblitiy.

As for Dark Samus some might argue that it should be a seprate charcter because of the fact that it would probably require a different move set since so many think she's so different and deserves to be playable. But I too would rather see Dark Samus as an alt color change. I wished they would of shown a pic of it in the update for it could of deconfirmed her.

You must be thinking of Phazon Suit or Dark Suit Samus. Unlockable costumes would be cool.


Anyway, there has been many topic that discuss alternate costumes, so please use the search function. For right now, all they seem to be are color pallet swaps.
