Convert a code for 1.2 to 1.1

Hello, i have found an ar code which i want to use but my version of the game is 1.1 and the code is for the version 1.2. I have found a tutorial on the website arcentral explaining how to do this sort of conversion but i find it far too complicated so i wondered if someone else could do the conversion for me.
