Controlling Nana

I just now noticed that you can control Nana instead of Popo with some costumes (never really used them in Melee, didn't know back then either. I figured "controlling Nana" meant using a costume that makes Popo pink), and I was wondering if there's any gameplay difference in using that. Are Popo and Nana different in any way aside from appearance?

Another topic like this already exists, and ironically this is right on top of said topic.

Not to be an a-hole, I will go ahead and say their is no difference.

And yeah, there was another topic referring to controlling Nana, but it didn't have anything to do with any differences between Popo and Nana aside from appearance. <.<
