Well, they give broken DI I hear, but anyways, you need a converter.

I hear tell of a Super Joy Box and a Magic Joy Box. However, I hear bad stuff about the GCN part of the Magic Joy Box [sucky name], and Super Joy Box is discontinued.

So, I dunno. Probably Virus will be able to help you.

'cause with my ''awesome'' KB I can't even press more then 2 keys at the same time so this setup is messed up for me:

Dair - hold Uair - Uair - jump I can't even perfom simple combo like these because of my stupid keyboard, so yeah is a GC controller good for SSB64?

My setup for KB:

WASD - Arrow Keys
J = A
N = B
M = L
K = Z
L = R
YUIO = C buttons
Enter = Start

Similar to Zantetsu's, cept altered a bit.

I know an XBox controller is good for smash...if the back triggers are broken in. I used a macro to make both of the back triggers Z [although it needs to break in, right nw its a bit tiring and I used R sometimes to Z-Cancel]. I could give myself a C-Stick, but that's too far. :p

XBox Controller setup is similar to a GC's, and a wired one is plug and play.

Hmm, I got used to it. Very responsive. Have to get used to it though.

A GC controller is the same, just with different sticks and triggers. And DI. Don't forget DI.

That config lets you press more than 2 buttons. Chances are you're using ArrowKeys/Numpad.

3-in-1 magic joybox has never let me down. Only problem I have with it is that I have to have a gcn controller in there before I plug it in which isn't a big deal at all.
