controller set up

I know this question has been asked a million times before (and im looking for the answer) but how can I set up my n64 controller.

I have a mayflash n64 dual port usb adapter

i plug it in, turn it on (light goes green), controller is in.

go to PJK64, and controller settings, there are a couple choices

Adaptoid Plugin v1.0
Jabo's DirectInput7 1.40
N-Rage`s Direct-Input8 1.61
N-Rage`s Direct-Input8 V2 1.83

Im not sure which one but I think it's one of the N-Rage's

then go to controller config

check plugged
set my device to 4 axis 16 button joystick
uncheck raw data

doesn't recognize it...
