Smash Wii U Controller Problems

Is anyone able to help me with my controller problems? when i flick the left analog stick, it sometimes triggers the opposite direction as well. This causes my character to turn when i dash in a direction on random occasions. this has been affecting my game since i will randomly do a pivot turn/grab and miss which my opponent then punishes. Thanks

Hello and welcome to the Smashboards!
Your description sounds kinda vague, maybe a video would help. Still, you should probably check to see if the controller is connected to your console properly, and if it is, you should probably click and flick the analog stick a whole lot to see if it goes back to where it should. Standard procedure, really.

Hey thanks.
The analog appears to go back to neutral as it should, however it may bounce faster than my eye can see. When i flick to dash, i randomly do pivot turns without properly doing the tech. I was just wondering if it could by the controller or just the analog stick itself.
At the moment i am using a WiiU Fight pad controller (wireless game-cube style pro controller). Thank for the input, i was just wondering if i can fix it or if i should just purchase a new one
