Smash Wii U controller help

Anyone try using the wii u commander pro controller by nyko for smash. Wondering if all the buttons work correctly, no stick or anything. Also wanted to check if the c stick also checks out. Really don't want to wait for the gamecube adapter and have to buy a gamecube controller as well.
