Hey guys. Been playing for forever, but new to the boards. Hopefully this is the proper spot to post this.
I'm a really physical player in every game I've ever played, and I really "feel" controllers. As such, I'm picky. With my girl Samus, I find that only specific controllers allow me to be a "fast faller Samus," while others force me to be more conservative in my movement options due to dashback, etc.
My beautiful, lovely, perfect controller is starting to drift, so I'm facing that existential crisis where I'm barely confident in my inputs. I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of different controller options. Should I buy a new 08 white and hope to god that the dashback and SnapBack work properly, or should I buy 3 s4 controllers to better my options. Is there an actual difference between the two, besides the trigger mechanisms?
FYI: I've got tons of other controllers to cannibalize, so triggers, shells, etc aren't an issue with the new ones. I'm solely concerned with finding a good stick box, because I don't feel functional in the game if my movement isn't competent
