Do you think that they will finally act like tekken and let you change the controls of the game to what fit you best?

I personally don't think they should, what do you guys think?

Yes! They need to remove that. It's totally useless.
No! They don't need to remove that. Some people actually jump with up and are actually good at the game, such as rock crock and qdvs. also jumping with up gives more options to a player. I use up with falco for LHDL and firestall.

If they were to remove it I would rather have an option for it.

I'm confused by your "Do you think they'll f i n a l l y act like Tekken.." And afterwards you stating that you don't think they should..

But anyway, I don't think they should..

they should leave it the way it is but i do agree there should be an option to turn off jumping with up. oh and they should make the other three directions on the d pad do different taunts

well it wouldn't really be changing the scheme but more letting people customize their own controls, and last i checked tekken had 4 attack buttons. They would have to change alot more than the controls to "compromise the originality of smash".

if they did, it would suck for competitive play.... people would always have to setup their controller how they are used to it, and it would make tournaments take that much longer
