In SSBB you could control which victory pose that you got after winning by pressing a certain button. (I think it was B,Y, and X.) For example, with Ike this was a great way to get his "I fight for my friends"-pose. But in Smash 4 I do not know if I can control the victory pose. So can I? And if so, how?

Yes you can by holding either up,left or right on the d pad after the match finishes, for example with Dr. Mario if you hold right on the d pad after the match finishes he should do his pill throw victory pose. I think this is the same for both versions.

This applies to both Smash 3DS and Smash Wii U, but ONLY during free-for-all matches. In team battles, fighters will ALWAYS use one specific victory pose after winning a match, though some fighters may use a different pose if he/she is not the winning member of the team.

What about online and 1V1?

Thanks guys, this is AMAZING! Now I just need to learn which button makes Ike clarify wether he fights for his friends or not and my Ike will be much better!

What about online and 1V1?
I tested it a little and it seems to work in FG 1v1! But I have not tested it much!

So we can pick our win poses here like in other fighting games? That's very cool! :D

I would LOVE to show off the Hammer after racing onto the scene as :4ludwig: after winning a match in FG Anywhere or Tourney Mode when I KO someone with the Side B Ram (--> UAir) --> Up B --> A (Hammer) SCOOPS juggle. The sheer sequence as a whole can make them seem as big of owners as Conglom-O, except cooler and more personally intimidating. :3 Hold Up on the :GCDpad: for this.
Hang onto a stock for shockingly high percents (150-ish%) and then win off of a clutch read with something like the walk-up FTilt Fork? Let's polish the battle damage off of the Clown Car for the next battle, shall we? :p Hold Right on the :GCDpad: for this.

I'd also love to bring out the Gunmen Guardians with :4duckhunt: after successfully blocking off a projectile or an approach move using Gunmen during either FG Anywhere or Tourney Mode and then winning the match afterwards. Hype bonus points if one of the Gunmen's own shots seal the KO during Sudden Death. X3 Hold Right on the :GCDpad: for this.
KO with the Can? I'll make the pooch kick one out of the screen after winning. :> Hold Up on the :GCDpad: for this.

Someone should compile the rest of the characters for which direction corresponds to which win pose for each character, if it hasn't been done already somewhere. If such a list has been made already, I'd like to know where.
