Considering the main basis for the legal stagelist in 3.02 was the location of stages on Page 1, and now 3.5 changes the layout of Page 1, anyone know what stagelist TOs have been using for 3.5 tournaments? Just wondering out of curiosity.

At least here in WA state, there has been a lot of talk going on about only using the middle 10 stages from the 2 bottom rows. Warioware accomplishes everything that Yoshi's Melee does, but without Randall jank and having a more unique platform layout. Distant Planet doesn't have large state boundaries (about as wide as PS2 I think), but has a long stage that can be super polarizing in MUs involving projectile campy characters (definitely not a neutral), which is also what leads to the misunderstanding that it has larger stage boundaries than it does (unnecessary confusion that can be avoided prob should be). Lylat and Skyworld introduce unnecessary Melee battlefield-ish ledges and are just 2 more stages with smaller or larger boundaries to add to the list, which we already have enough of as prev mentioned.

We'd go 1-2-1 on neutral stagebans, and then winner bans 2 during CPs. I've played a tourney with it so far and it seemed fair enough to me

Hmm....interesting idea. Sounds promising, though. Especially since it has experience to back it up. I'll keep this one in mind as a possible stagelist to run with.
