(Conquest 01/02 - 01/05) Cut vs. Cutters

After last years baffling display of team "Peach" losing to team "Zelda" despite having a mod squad of characters thought to be the most overused online (including little mac, bowser, duck hunt, & rob), I've realized that there may be factors other than just how many "noob" or "overpowered" characters a team has that goes into deciding a victory.

Thus I have decided to start making threads of discussion to get more insight on the trends and capabilities which factor into one side winning over the other(s). So with that out of the way, lets get on with it.


This week is team "Cut" (people who are good for your health) vs team "Cutters" (people who are bad for your health, or maybe just emo..).

The respective team members are:

Wii Fit Trainer
Dr. Mario

(Cutters)
Ike
Meta Knight

Shame on Europe for calling them "Team Health" vs. "Team Sword". Hilarious.

Anyway, as a WFT main i'll go for Team Health, though the massive use of Ike online may prove to be difficult to overtake in points (losing still earns a +2)...

Personally, I'm going to use this as an opportunity to level up my Meta Knight. The only problem is whether Dr. Mario can carry Wii Fit Trainer.

I want cut to win but I feel that cutters are more of a popular choice to use. However that could mean they can lose more due to popularity and the cut team probably will be played by somewhat smarter people. That's my guess though.
