Connecting Both Versions of the Game

Do we have a full list of what happens when you do this? Is it only sharing customizeable characters? Does it unlock any equipment on the other version of the game if you've unlocked them on one? Does it carry over Classic and All-Star clear records and trophies?

As far as I know, connecting the games only lets you either use the 3DS as a controller or port over custom movesets you've made on one console to the other. The actual custom moves and equipment don't actually carry over; they only exist for that specific custom moveset.

It should also be noted that copied customizations can't be modified; you have to go back to the original source to make any changes to the customization.
