Connecting 2 Gamecube Controllers to PC

Hi, recently I downloaded Dolphin Emulator to play Melee on my computer. I bought the "GC Controller Adapter for PC USB" and was able to get the first port working. However, I don't know how to get the gamecube controller on the second port to work. So far, I attempted to get the second port working by going on the "Config" settings on Dolphin, going to the "Gamecube" tab, and switching "Port 2" to "Standard Controller." From here, I don't know what to do next. Help please?

Sorry, SWF, has a policy on not going into emulators and such. I will say that you should try seeing if your computer can read both of your controllers in general. See if both end up working or detected outside of Dolphin.
