Conker vs. Battletoads

Which of these Rare icons would you rather have in smash? Not sure myself, wanted some input. Making a personal roster, whoever wins I'll include.

I would much rather have Battletoads but I’m pretty sure Conker is more popular. The Battletoads have been my brother’s favorite video game characters since we were kids and would be amazing in Smash. They were also RARE’s first breakout hit that propelled them as a company. I even have a support thread for these guys.

I’ve never really been a big fan of Conker in all honesty. He would also have to be toned down a lot to fit an E rated game and would lose most of his appeal. Without the vulgarity, there isn’t much separating him from other platforming mascots like Banjo or Crash.

I voted Battletoads, always loved them. I feel Rash would make a better smash bro than Conker.

Yeah, smash conker would need to be toned down A LOT to even fit a rated-T game. If it's Conker and he doesn't have a drink beer special, is it really conker?

already am including James Bond btw. such an underrated pick, if anyone were to break the 4th party wall, it would be him. GoldenEye has a bigger cult following than banjo honestly.

I loved GoldenEye and I never really play first person shooters. There was just something about that game that hooked me in a way most other games of the genre couldn’t. A lot of it probably has to do with its awesome soundtrack. I especially love the Cradle theme.
