I do, but the second one never even reaches the wall.

You're probably timing it wrong, just practice it on a stage with a wall for a bit. Make sure to bring the control stick back to the neutral position before doing the second one.

You have to hit it like a smash attack (like samus's super missles) and time it just when her hair starts to fall down.

The timing for it is pretty hard and takes some practice. Try it out on fourside then do it on yoshi's story then on fd.

You have to let it reset to neutral
