Hello forum this is my first oficial post on these boards, i come and browse here a lot but decided to join the community.

Here is the thing, I play on a HDTV with my wii and have noticed some lag with Guitar Hero 3, now I want to avoid this at all costs when Smash comes out because it won't be nearly as exciting and fun if i am playing with lag.

I hear that component cables are perfect solution and i have been browsing on ebay as of late to find which ones i should buy.

So my question is....

Is there a specific brand of component cables i should get? on ebay there appears to be quite a few I was just wondering what brand you guys have if you have them and how well they work.

I appreciate any help i can get

I don't think it matters much. You might want to make sure the space between the jacks on your TV is sufficient. I bought Intec cables and they were too fat to all fit in the jacks for my Toshiba Regza TV. I got the Nintendo ones because they were the thinnest, but you should probably just get a cheaper one. Expensive cables are rarely worth it.

if you get component cables and your tv is hd then your game will lag less than regular composite cables if it is a tv that upscales, that is, takes a poorer picture and tries to make it look prettier on the hdtv. if it doesnt have upscaling and just displays it as is then you should be fine without component. i suggest component.
