I'm trying to figure out who would be a helpful one to learn for Falco's weaknesses.

Right now, I'm trying out Marth as a secondary and I'm really liking it. I use my aggro Falco on other fast fallers and middleweights, and I have my Marth for floaties or certain matchups that I dislike.

I find that Marth Falco is very effective. I use it myself, because its what PPMD does and it works for him very well. PS. Why do people with persona Avatars reply to this thread?

Either Fox, Marth and Sheik maybe, it depends on what you're using your Secondary Against

IDK if Marth is a good pick. Strictly cuz Puff kinda mauls him like a bair (I had to). Also we've seen the top Marths lose to Armada's Peach (including two gods). I honestly think that in practice the MU is even.

Also Marth-Sheik is really good for Sheik and Falco-Sheik is pretty even, Sheik basically checks your little duo.

Fox is really the best option, but Marth can be effective.

Puffs attacks cant reach through his sword, so as long as you play a very campy marth he would be fine. Plus Marths shield breaker destorys puffs shield for kills. What weakness does marth have to puff? You seem to know what your talking about, so i'd just like some advice as to why puff beats marth, because i'm not familiar with the matchup. I agree fox is also really good against floaties tho. That up air doe.

Puff/Marth seems like it should be trash for Puff but she does really well. She can kinda hang out and wait for Marth to mess up and then get in with bair and stuff. Also crouch-canceling is godlike against Marth. Also a lot of his stuff is unsafe on shield so she can Rest OoS. Also, along with crouch-canceling, her crouch itself is amazing for dodging a lot of his stuff, including grab. Also he's relatively easy to edgeguard, steal his jumps, and obviously if he lands on stage with upB it's a fr33 r3st. Also utilt rest is sooooo ez against Marth and you can combo into it from both fast fall uair AND bair at low percents. EZ

Also I think Puff is kind of a better secondary than Marth for Falco's bad matchups because she's easier than Marth so she requires less practice time than Marth. It's up to you, though. Honestly though Falco can do any matchup and in the long run you'll probably be better off learning the matchup with Falco than trying to get another character.

Except Peach. **** Peach. JK except on her counterpick she's going to beat you so might as well switch to Puff if she goes Fountain of Dreams or something just in case you get a couple of lucky rests.

Also you want Puff for teams because FALCO SUCKS IN TEAMS UGH (at least mine does).

OH okay. makes sense, puff can reach real high with dat nice up air and 5 jumps, and marth cant get down because his poor down air. In theory it just seemed like marth was so much better, thanks!
