General Melee Competitive Discussion. Basically discussing different types of play styles, why we main who we main, how good we are 1-10, local tournaments, and personal ideas/tier lists.
Melee Mains: IC's, G & W, Peach
Melee Secondaries: Fox, Falco
SM4SH Mains: R + L, G & W, Peach
SM4SH Secondaries: Fox, Robin, Palutena
Play Style: Varies, mostly defensive/aerial
Personal Skill: 5-6
Uncommon beliefs: Fox isn't top tier in Melee, Duck Hunt is top tier in SM4SH

Question: Am I good enough for local tournaments? I can tech, l-cancel, ledge-hog, space, edge-guard, all consistently. I can wavedash and recover most of the time. Am I good enough or will I get 0-2'd?

Skill is a matter of relativity. It depends on your scene. Since you're in California, you'll very likely go 0-2 for a long time, It has a really strong Melee scene. If you were in a weak region, you'd be able to win your 1st tournament set sooner

Don't worry about going 0-2. Melee's a fun game even during defeat
