I'm an average player without a main who enjoys a variety of different rule sets, and I love tracking statistics. Therefore, I thought it would be fun to post the data from my online battles and see which fighter comes out on top. These battles include stock, time, a few stamina, with items and without, all iterations of stages, FFA, 3-way, 1 vs. 1, and team. I switch fighters all the time and usually play only a handful of battles before moving in to another character. This is the way I've always played so the data here is "natural." The only thing I manipulated was making sure I played at least 30 battles with every fighter.

* I combined the stats of Peach/Daisy, Samus/Dark Samus, and Simon/Richter since the parent and clone play almost identically.

First, I calculated a Win % for each fighter using this formula:

Victory = 1 win
Strong Finish = 2/3 win
Weak Finish = 1/3 win
Last Place = 0 wins

*Strong Finish = Calculated after subtracting Victories to avoid double counting.
*Weak Finish = Bucket for any results not classified as Victory, Strong, or Last.

Since quality of opponent obviously affects the likelihood of winning a battle, I factored GSP into the formula. While it's far from perfect, a higher GSP generally means facing better opponents. I used 3 million as a neutral baseline, then adjusted Win % by 5 percentage points for every million GSP above or below 3M. Therefore, a 50% winning fighter with a 4M GSP is bumped up to 55% while a 2M fighter is downgraded to 45%. After this adjustment, the final result is Adjusted Win %.

I wanted to post an excel table here but I can't figure out how. So instead I posted the table in two halves on Twitter:

How do my rankings compare to your best and worst fighters?
