Common Combo?

My brother plays with Luigi alot and I was wondering if this technique I use is one many other people use. It manly only works on floaties.

So anyways, you grab them and smach them a few times, then throw them down. Since their floaties you won't be able to chain grab them so instead you do a full jump up the them and do a fair. The fair should stun them long enough for you to perform a second fair, therfore easily racking up atleast 30-40%.

I have manly used this on Luigi but I think it should work just as well on other floaties.

Is this or is this not a common technique.

Its definitely a good combo, and I have seen it before, but can't say that it is common.

I sometimes use a similar combo, but being samus, I also throw in dsmahes and nairs, so techinically it's not the same. Your combo doesn't sound too out of the ordinary, but if it works it's all good

It's bread and butter luigi stuff; throw to aerial.

Doesn't work on everyone; and it depends on DI and stuff.

I guess your right. And I've been watching shiek vids and no one seems to use it, throw to arial is bread and butter but I like to think of this one as unique.

i think its not used too much cuz its very situational. They have to basically DI into the fairs, which doesnt happen in too many advanced matches. But yeah pleanty of ppl double fair. But luigi recovers fast and has better priority, so it can be risky if he tries to attack u.
