Coming back to SSB, Fox or Falco?

I missed brawl, but I played alot of melee back in the day.. I was a fairly competitive player (within my group of friends) but looking back now and after watching some gameplay/twitch.. I think we kind of sucked

I mained fox on 64, then moved to falco on ssbM

Which character is better in sm4sh?

I'm also looking for a new main.. but i'd like to keep fox or falco as my backup.. I've been looking towards greninja as his playstyle looks simular. Thoughts on that?

If you are looking for someone that plays most like their Melee counterpart, I'd say neither. Go for Shiek. However, Fox is a lot better than he was in Brawl and he might even be top tier again this time. However again, he is NOTHING like Melee Fox. Falco is worse than he was in brawl but if you know how to use him he's still good. I suggest checking the character sub forums if you want to know more about each of them.

I definitely think Fox is the better of the two in this game, but only time will tell.
