Comic Con 07 Smash Tourney?

i was just wondering if anyone knew if Comic Con is hosting a SSBM tourney this year? From what i hear, they usually do. If so, anyone know how they usually go?

i believe they teamed up with evo for this one.
free entry and evo will use good rules

However since registration is free you needed to sign up in advance and as of right now the most tourney including smash are pretty much closed. The only games that are left is Vritua Fighter 5 and Guilty Gear XX Slash Teams. But their is a free play room called the BYOC (Bring Your Own Controller) room where they will supply TVs while you supply the console, game, controllers, and fun ^_^.

You have to actually pay for entry to comic con to be able to play in the tournament, right?

I would assume so, or you can also volunteer. Programming always needs more people....

Edit: I also want some practice before Con. Anyone willing to help? I'm over in the Point Loma area and I have limited transportation...
