generally you just want to wave shine him infinite him weather its by a dair running shine etc but sometime with nair depending on their di and percent you may be able to get a uptilt or up smash in and hit them with single hit up airs to back air to edge guard these are just pretty simple things but hope it helped

There are a few ways to effectively combo Falcon, and these can be easily put into a flowchart. The most obvious is waveshine combos. These are good to push Falcon to the edge in order to set up edgeguards and gain stage control. If you land a grounded shine (either by landing a drill or just a plain running shine) and the Falcon's not at a percent to die from upsmash, your goal should be to waveshine him across the stage and end with a forward throw, down smash, or double shine in order to get him off stage. At this point, edgeguard him brutally cause Falcon sux lol.

So basically the flowchart for landing a waveshine is like this:

Will he die from upsmash? If yes, kill with upsmash. If no, continue waveshining.
Will the next shine allow him to slide off and grab ledge? If yes, forward throw, down smash, or (if really close to ledge) double shine instead. If no, continue waveshining.

As you can see, it's not too complicated lol. Waveshine into an edgeguard situation.

The other way to combo Falcon is similar to how one would combo spacies. Although Falcon can't really be chaingrabbed like the spacies, your upthrow can still set up for combos. At 0%, you can upsmash or uptilt on no DI and slight DI. DI away has to be tech-chased. The upsmash follow-up will lead to a tech chase, and the uptilt will go to a re-grab. At slightly higher percents 10-35ish%, you can regrab full DI away and uptilt no DI. For slight DI either way, short hop nair into regrab generally works. From there, you can always uptilt no DI until percents when either up air can kill or back air can set up for an edgeguard. If they DI away or use slight DI, I would recommend short hop nair into a tech chase.

In general, you want to focus on comboing in such a way that Falcon will end up offstage. It is far easier to kill Falcon by pushing him too far to recover than it is to kill him off the top outright. I would recommend watching Mang0, Hax, Leffen, SFAT, or Syrox versus Falcon and see how they combo. I'll link some matches. Hope this helped!

I also just noticed that you ambiguously asked about comboing other characters as well haha. I can't really go through every character, so I'll just leave it at covering Falcon. It varies a lot based on weight and fall speeds, so I would just recommend watching a lot of vods of top Foxes against various characters.

I don't necessarily agree with wave shining a falcon across the stage, it's more efficient and easier to do a waveshine up smash for 30% than doing 6 wave shines for 30%. you risk dropping your combo or having the opponent SDI your shine and your combo can drop. if you can wave shine across stage 100% of the time do it, but expect the SDI if you keep doing the same thing. can certainly mix up your shine timings to throw them off, but that's a whole different ballpark.

I try to wave shine up smash then react to their di with an aerial or move forward and take their space, pushing them to the corner. can shoot lasers on full di away at higher percents too. up tilt combos into up tilt for a lot of damage if you catch them in the air, can up smash to start a tech chase as well. I like doing Sh Drill turn around Up tilt as an opening around 50

The point of waveshing him across the stage is to edgeguard him -- not really to rack up damage. Edgeguarding Falcon is almost always easier than comboing and racking up enough damage to outright kill him. Also Falcon is not that good at escaping waeshine combos because of the distance he gets sent from shine. It's not short enough (like Peach) for him to really end up behind you, and it's not long enough (like Sheik) to send him far enough away to make it even slightly more difficult to waveshine him again. I'd be stupid to say that waveshine -> upsmash -> further combo isn't good though, so to each his own. Clearly there are scenarios for each. I just feel that for Falcon specifically, it is more often better to set up for an edgeguard. However, waveshine -> upsmash can lead to any of the combos I detailed in my previous post. So I think we're both right haha.
