Collusion at Bar Wars - April 27th 2014

As you may all know, Bar Wars just ended in a split among the Top 5 Players due to "Tired/Its Too Late" Johns, when in actuality its most likely collusion. Had Doubles been removed, this would not have happened.

I wouldn't call it collusion, but it definitely adds to widfe's argument...

Just schedule teams after singles though, then at least the main event could finish

max collusion indeed lol. shame too i wanted to see mango come back from losers especially since he was going strictly fox and was a little tipsy but what can you do? Schedule doubles after singles maybe, but melee doubles was so hype or start running less games.

I think the biggest problem was that the tournament was run by a new TO - or at least hosted by a TO doing their first Smash tournament.

Nope. Venue/Bar closed at 2 AM and we still had at least 1.5 hours of matches left, all which needed to be streamed. Yes, the tournament had issues and poor management. No, there was no collusion. Collusion implies secrecy, and none of the players were even the ones who suggested the split.
