I used to do this before I figured out how to do this on Wii.
Yes it works, but it's slow, causes slowdown during stage transformations on Pokemon Stadium, and has weird sound glitches that get pretty annoying after a few hours. Do yourself a favour,, buy a backwards compatible Wii, and grab 20xx and PM 3.5.
Works flawlessly
