This is all about Wil, the protagonist CO of the most recent Advance Wars game for the DS. He has just survived a meteor strike on the Earth and has joined forces with a band of rebels. Little is known about the stroy as the game is un-released, but he'd make a perfect addition to Brawl!

Now, what would his moves consist of? Well, I thought of a gimmick that would perfectly suit an Advance Wars rep, that is buying units! This is like a cross between Olimar and PT (my two favorite SSBB additions).

What you do is hold your down special. The longer you wait, the fore "funds" you will have available, and the better units you could purchase. The most basic unit is infantry (Days of Ruin look). These guys are basic and deal little damage, but are suitable for a quick, weaker attack. Having infantry also allows you to bring other units at a cheaper price/less time. (This is derived from capturing buildings with infantry in Advance Wars which gives you more funds).

The next available unit is a simple tank. It is more powrful, but it takes much longer to buy.

Another available unit is the Helicopter. These hover above the stage and attack from there.

Lastly, the artillery is avilable. It allows long ranged strikes.

To attack with these units, you use your side special. Tap it to cycle units, hold it to attack with a particular unit.

I have NO clue what the other moves should be, so help me out!

OK, I honestly see Will as a definite possibility, but not before Andy. Not a chance.

Really though, it's pretty hard to discuss anything about him since so little is known. As unique as your funds idea is, it seems way too complex.

I think his best shot to get in is as an Andy clone.
